- Explain how personality disorders entered the DSM classification system, how nosology has changed, and future directions suggested in DSM 5.
- List pros and cons of making these diagnoses in children and youth, describing the clinical, legal and social implications of these diagnoses.
- Recognize and help manage common comorbidities that are often the predisposing, precipitating and perpetuating factors that cause impairment and suffering.
